AI text message analyzer with evidence you can check
Reviewed: September 6, 2026
ReadBetween analyzes a pasted two-person conversation for observable communication patterns. It shows what supports the result, what else could explain it, and what the text cannot tell you.
Analyze a conversation
Label each line with a name, confirm which speaker is you, and answer three short context questions. The first preview is free and requires no account.
Start the free text analysisWhat the analyzer measures
- Reciprocity: how many messages each person contributes.
- Effort balance: average message length, interpreted cautiously.
- Curiosity: direct questions that help keep the exchange moving.
- Uncertainty: phrases such as “maybe” or “I’ll let you know.”
- Follow-through: concrete times, alternatives, and next steps visible in the text.
The free score is a directional summary of these features. It is not a probability that someone likes you and should not be treated as a factual prediction.
Why speaker confirmation matters
A conversation analyzer must know which messages belong to you. ReadBetween detects exactly two labels and asks you to confirm your own before continuing. That prevents a chat written as “Alex:” and “Sam:” from silently reversing the analysis.
Alex: Want to get coffee Friday?
Sam: Around six? I can meet near your office.
If more than two speakers are detected, the analyzer stops instead of merging several people into one side.

Important limits
A text analyzer sees only the excerpt you paste. It cannot observe timing that was removed, body language, relationship history, offline conduct, or what either person privately feels. Short, selectively copied excerpts can produce a misleading result.
ReadBetween is for entertainment and self-reflection, not psychological, medical, legal, relationship, or safety advice. If a conversation suggests coercion, abuse, or immediate danger, prioritize trusted people and qualified local support.
Privacy and payment design
The pasted conversation is processed for the analysis and is not saved in a ReadBetween conversation database. Public funnel measurements do not contain the chat. If you buy a report, the encrypted result is bound to that one-time Dodo payment and can be restored from the same browser.

Frequently asked questions
What can an AI text message analyzer tell me?
It can organize visible patterns—effort, questions, hedging, warmth, and follow-through—and connect an observation to a quote. It cannot know private intent.
Can I analyze a group chat?
No. ReadBetween currently accepts exactly two labeled speakers so the comparison remains clear.
Does it work with WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, or WeChat?
Yes, if you paste plain text and start each message with a speaker label and colon. Screenshot upload is not currently available.
Does ReadBetween save my conversation?
It processes the text for one-time analysis and does not store the conversation in its own database. A purchased report can be stored locally in your browser for restoration.
